The Hebrew word "yada" means "to know" from the heart or by experience. While the word "relationship" is not in the Bible, it permeates the scriptures. God knows our hearts and our thoughts. We get to know him by being broken, humble, completely open and by making it our goal to know him.

Read Scripture through context, culture, and Christ. Its purpose is to shape us into Jesus’ likeness through love, obedience, and faithfulness.
Jesus built his life on Scripture through prayer, learning and obedience, showing us how to know God deeply and walk daily in his purpose by staying rooted daily.
Saying “no” to sin is saying “yes” to freedom. Through grace, discipline, and daily surrender, we follow Jesus—not perfectly, but faithfully.
